My name is Sari Soffer. I am a broadcast journalism major, with a minor in Middle East Studies, in the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. I split my time between journalistic activities and dance — I am a member of the Fusion Dance Co. at Northwestern University. I am also Video Director for an online food magazine and a contributor to the Northwestern News Network. In the past summers, I have interned for the Fox Business Channel and Birds Nest Productions. Both were unparalleled experiences in my career path thus far.
I am a proud Philadelphia resident that splits her time between Rittenhouse Square and the Margate shore. There is nothing I love more than Lolita’s Mexican food on 13th street and Jersey Shore crabs in Atlantic City — shocker, I love food. Other things I like: loud music, dancing and good company. I am happy to plan a good party whenever the opportunity presents itself — and I rarely have trouble finding an excuse to do so. That being said, I live by the mantra “Work Hard, Play Hard” as most college students do. I am a perfectionist in my personal responsibilities and passions, but an imperfectionist in pretty much everything else.
